About Natalie Stainback
Natalie Stainback’s Experience
I have 10 years of experience working with individuals with mental health and substance abuse concerns. I appreciate diversity in my practice. Over the years, I have worked with children, adolescents, adults, the military, and individuals with mental health and substance abuse concerns in the outpatient setting. I have assisted individuals with perinatal mental health, substance abuse concerns, gambling, depression, anxiety, trauma, and schizophrenia. I have worked in many different settings such as schools; outpatient therapy, psychiatric hospital, military setting, VA Hospitals, and with individuals receiving medication-assisted treatment. I recognize the stigma regarding mental health and substance abuse and have worked with individuals from all walks of life.
I recognized early that everyone has a story. Everyone has a different story and is impacted by their story differently. Throughout this process, I have learned that we all have one thing in common; we are all human. No matter our backgrounds, professions, or economic status we all have challenges at times within our life. I see firsthand the daily challenges others have coping with their concerns. I am very passionate about my work. Counseling is an awesome way to learn and explore new skills to assist in the growing process. The more we learn, the more confident and secure we feel about ourselves. There are no “one size fits all” treatments. Growth is a process and takes time. Together we can learn from one another and feel good regarding the process. I would love the opportunity to assist you! Thanks again for taking the time to get to know me!
